The Magical Sleep Line
For age group 3 to 6 |
There
is a line that goes down
from
your nose to your toes
Follow
the line down from your nose to your toes
And
go ahhh...
The
line that goes down
from
your nose to your toes
Can
be any colour you choose
Maybe
it's yellow or green, pink or blue
So
follow the line down from your nose to your toes
In
whichever colour you choose
Follow
it down ... and go ahhh
Take
your colour right down to your toes
Then
see it become like a sunbeam's glow
and
put that feeling into your toes
Feel it there ...
and
go ahhh
Bring it up from your feet to your knees
Let
them feel all loose and free
And
go ... ahhh
Float
the sunbeam up your legs to your tummy
Let
it rest there like soft warm honey ... and go ahhh
Feel
the sunbeam move to your chest
It
is soft and warm
And
soothes you to rest
Feel
it there ...
and go ahhh...
Now
it glides down through your arms to your hands
Feel
them open and soft and as relaxed as they can
And
go ... ahhh
The
sunbeam floats up now through your arms to your shoulders
Feel
it there warm, soothing and calm
And
go ... ahhh
Now
the sunbeam comes to rest in your head
You
feel so glad to be comfy and snug in your bed
Feel
the soft glow of the sunbeam there and go ...ahhh
Follow
the line from your nose to your toes
You
are so relaxed and sleepy as your whole body glows
From
your nose to your toes
Feel
the glow and go ... ahhh

Your Night Light Is A Star
For age group 6 and over |
Your
night-light is a star,
Its
light is soft and golden,
It
makes you feel so happy
As
you snuggle down in bed.
Its
soft light glows around you
As
you gently close your eyes,
Its
soft light glows around you
As
you give a sleepy sigh.
 |
Your
night-light is a star,
Its light is soft and golden,
It
makes you feel so sleepy
as
you snuggle down in bed. |
Its
relaxing light surrounds you
With
comfort – warm and deep.
Its
relaxing light surrounds you
And
carries you to sleep.
Your
night-light is a star
Its
light is soft and golden,
It
makes you feel so cosy
As
you snuggle down to sleep.
As
this light glows round you
It’s
full of happy dreams,
As
this light glows round you…
You’ll
love the dreams it brings.
Your
night-light is a star
Its
light is soft and golden
It
makes you feel so dreamy
As
you snuggle down to sleep.
The
glow from it enfolds you
With
soft and gentle light
The
glow from it enfolds you
With
peace all through the night.
Your night-light is a star
Its
light is soft and golden
It
shines like many others
As
the world is filled with sleep.

Counting Bears
For the 1 to 4 age group |
Imagine you've got lots of teddies…
Feeling sleepy on your bed.
Shall we count all the bears
With nodding tired heads?
Can you see the bears
With dreamy eyes half closed?
Look at all the teddy bears
In a snoozy…drowzy doze.
Can you see…
One…two…three…very sleepy
bears,
Four…five…six…sleepy,
sleepy bears,
Seven…eight…nine…bears
fast asleep,
And
number ten…a bear…
Whose
sleepy eyes still peep.
He's waiting to cuddle you
As you snuggle down in bed.
His name is Bedtime Bear,
And he's a very sleepy ted,
He's glad you are in bed now
So he can say 'night-night'.
He's glad that you are ready…
to hug him, warm and tight.
So…'night-night' to…
One…two…three…very sleepy
bears,
Four…five…six…sleepy,
sleepy bears,
Seven…eight…nine…bears
fast asleep.
And
number ten…a bear…
Who
is drifting off to sleep.
Nearly everyone's asleep now…
In the bed, so snug and cosy.
Ten happy bears and you…
All relaxed…and dreamy.
'Sweet dreams' you whisper…
to all your bears…so softly.
Bedtime Bear nods and smiles…
And hugs you…very gently.
Mmm…'Sweet dreams' to you and…
One …two…three…very
sleepy bears,
Four…five…six…sleepy,
sleepy bears,
Seven…eight…nine…bears
fast asleep.
And
number ten… a bear…
Who
is smiling as he sleeps.

Inside every heart is a candle
For 6 and over age group |
Inside
every heart is a candle,
Each
candle sends out a light,
The
light seems to be at its brightest
When
surrounded by velvety night.
This
light in your heart expands
With
thoughts that make you smile.
Let
some of the thoughts of your happiest times
Flow
through you…for a while.
As
those thoughts flow and mingle,
The
light in your heart seems to grow.
Relax and feel the
light fill you...
With a soft, gentle, magical
glow.
The light in your heart might be golden,
Or might sparkle like a silvery star…
The way it feels is the most special thing,
Full of relaxing comfort and calm.
You can almost see the light glowing,
As it radiates out from your heart,
The light flows all round your body now
Bringing relaxation…and peace…to each part.
It flows up…and around your head,
Softening all the muscles in your face.
Then it flows back down your neck and arms
At a gradual…sleepy…smooth
pace.
It stays in your arms
and hands glowing
Then the light
flows out to your chest…
Moving
gently through your tummy and legs
It
carries you into wonderful rest.
The
light has reached your feet now,
As
it fills you…you are nearly asleep.
The
rest that comes from this light-filled state
Is
beautiful, peaceful and deep.
Inside
every light is a candle,
Each
candle its glow will keep…
All
through the night your candle will shine
As
you're surrounded in velvety sleep.
