Ducklings

 Peppo
and Frew are two very tiny ducklings who live among their friends
by the riverbank - there's Ganda the Goose, Otto the Otter, Froggie
and Fishie. On the eve of their first swim in the river (and ducklings
love to swim) there is excitement all around. Will the ducklings
be able to settle in their nest for the night? Along comes Swala
the magical swan and takes Peppo and Frew on a restful glide along
the river.
Nestling on her back they listen to her gentle lullabies and sleepy
stories until, back with Mummy duck, the ducklings snuggle into
a cosy peaceful sleep.

The Hugwood
